Responsibilities:
  • You will design and develop robust, efficient, and maintainable backend systems and APIs using Golang.
  • You will work with the product owner and business stakeholders to define the product and tech roadmaps.
  • You will engage with the wider engineering organization, ensuring your tech roadmap aligns with other teams.
  • You will build high-quality, fault-tolerant systems and products, owning all areas of implementation, frontend, backend, CI pipeline, automated test suites, and operations.
  • You will write clean and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
  • You will implement unit tests and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • You will optimize application performance and scalability to handle high volumes of data and user traffic.
  • You will identify and address bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues in the codebase.
  • You will work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of applications.
  • You will stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Golang and related technologies, and share knowledge within the team.
  • You will mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative team environment.
