Job Description

At Ubiquity, we are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with software engineers, system engineers, and other IT staff members to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

The Cloud Systems Engineer will play a key role in managing code releases, designing, planning, and testing existing networks and systems infrastructure. They will also suggest and provide development tools for software engineers and quality assurance analysts to make their tasks more efficient.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and a strong understanding of Unix System Administration, cloud computing platforms, continuous integration tools, relational and NoSQL databases, version control systems, and backend programming and scripting languages.

Responsibilities include:
  • Suggesting and providing development tools for software engineers and quality assurance analysts.
  • Ensuring the scalability and extensibility of software through improvements and application refactoring.
  • Improving software quality through integration of automated tests.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for tools and application architecture.
  • Ensuring reliability, availability, security, and stability of systems.
