Emerson Electric is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Sales and Operations Planning team, you will be responsible for analyzing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing supply chain processes across all plant sites.

In this role, you will work closely with S&OP Managers, Materials Managers, and Planning teams from all sites to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. Your expertise in data mining, manipulation, and analysis will enable you to create comprehensive reports and present findings to stakeholders.

To succeed in this position, you must have a strong understanding of supply chain systems, tools, and applications. Additionally, you should possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of Power BI and business intelligence tools.

About the Role:

  • Create supply chain and SIOP-related reports based on standard processes and perform data validation to achieve data integrity.
  • Work on continuous improvement and innovation project ideas and implement agreed and approved solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive training on business tools, reports, and processes, including skills development and certification.
  • Document all major forecast changes from the prior demand plan and review and update S&OP decks based on required changes.
  • Gather S&OP meeting results and implement adjustments needed for the material plan and forecast.
