About The Job

The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for overseeing the legal and labor affairs for the company, specifically managing arbitration and litigation cases. This position will work closely with internal teams and external counsel to safeguard the company's legal and business interests.

Main ResponsibilitiesHR Compliance & Advisory
  1. Ensure the company complies with applicable Philippine labor laws and regulations
  2. Provide guidance and support to the HR team in handling disciplinary/administrative cases
  3. Stay updated on changes in legislation and provide advice on necessary actions
HR Representation
  1. Represent the company during employee arbitration and litigation proceedings
  2. Work with external counsel in handling employee legal/labor related cases
  3. Represent the HR team in legal matters when required
Litigation & Dispute Management
  1. Manage & oversee employee legal disputes and ensure proper documentation are in place to support each case
  2. Maintain an organized tracking mechanism for all legal cases from initial company notification to case resolution
  3. Work closely with HRBP and internal stakeholders in reviewing and assessing employee cases
Reports Compliance
  1. Adhere to required local government compliance submissions and any required Global HR reports
  2. Liaison with authorities & external partners
  3. Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies and BPO industry associations
  4. Work with external legal advisors for specialized legal matters
  5. Other tasks which may be assigned from time to time
