About the Project

The project seeks to unpack the gender dimensions within climate-related concerns, policies, and programs, aiming to enhance social, economic, and environmental outcomes. It targets reducing gender vulnerability, differentiated impacts of disasters and climate change on women and men, promoting the empowerment and opportunities of women and men in all their diversities, and ensuring a just transition.

Key activities include building government capacity to identify existing national data sources, producing/compiling priority indicators, and developing knowledge products/dissemination materials. The consultant will work closely with national government institutions, UN Women, and other stakeholders to achieve these objectives.

The consultant's success will be measured by the quality of the data produced, the effectiveness of the workshops, and the overall impact of the project on sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific.
