Accounting Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to lead our internal finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, financial controls, cash flow management, and tax compliance.

This role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintenance of accurate financial records and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing.
  • Preparation and analysis of the three core financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Establishment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of financial control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
  • Management of vendor invoicing, collections, payroll, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Development and maintenance of a rolling 13-week cash flow report to support liquidity management.
  • Building and maintaining financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
  • Providing scenario analysis and cash flow projections to management.
Tax and Compliance:
  • Preparation and filing of U.S. corporate tax returns and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • Management of Singapore tax filings (corporate income tax, GST) with external advisors.
  • Liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA preferred; ACCA/CA a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Big 4 Accounting firm, ideally in a managerial or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge or willingness to learn is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with U.S. tax law (Singapore tax experience a plus).
