Equipment Technician

Subic Drydock Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of dock facility machinery.

• Installation: Install dock facility machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Maintenance: Perform regular preventative and predictive maintenance on dock facility machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair dock facility machinery as needed, using a logical and methodical approach to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including daily logs and SOPs.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with operators from other shifts to ensure seamless operation and minimize downtime.
• Tool Management: Maintain and secure work tools, ensuring they are properly stored and accounted for at all times.
• Cleanliness: Clean and maintain the work area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Safety Protocols: Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use, following all established safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a dock facility setting.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
