Demand Planner: A Strategic Role in Supply Chain Management

Overview:

As a Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the supply chain strategy of our organization. You will be responsible for developing effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures, as well as strong mathematical and statistical knowledge. Experience in a demand planning/forecasting role is essential, with a minimum of 2 years experience required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts to inform production and purchasing decisions
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement in demand forecasting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of forecast information
  • Implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to demand planning and forecasting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will work onsite in Makati City, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders (sales, logistics) and external stakeholders (suppliers and principals).
