Job Description

The role of a BIM Modeler is to provide technical support in the creation and maintenance of 3D models. This involves working with Autodesk REVIT software to construct 3D models, prepare drawings, and update the model according to the latest information. The goal is to ensure the accuracy of shop drawings and facilitate communication among stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Constructing 3D models and preparing drawings using REVIT software.
  • Updating the 3D model in accordance with the latest information to ensure accuracy of shop drawings.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with other disciplines to address design changes and model challenges.
  • Preparing BIM models to communicate, aid visualization, and make informed decisions based on design changes.

Additionally, the BIM Modeler will produce and check structural rebar shop drawings to ensure details align with the design criteria and specifications. They will also produce structural layouts and detailed shop drawings for civil and structural engineering works, adhering to design criteria and specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, the following skills and qualifications are essential:

  • Diploma or degree in drafting or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant REVIT working experience.
  • Knowledge of BIM requirements in Europe standard (optional).
  • Proficiency in the use of Autodesk REVIT.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing linkage and cleanup.
  • Team player with a sense of responsibility.
  • Reliable, independent, and team-oriented work approach.
