Job Title: Data Specialist / Executive Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Data Specialist / Executive Assistant. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, capable of working independently to analyze data, streamline workflows, and enhance existing systems.

About the Role

This role involves managing and optimizing complex Excel-based datasets, transitioning them to SQL or other database platforms, and providing administrative support to the executive team. Prior experience in every listed area is not required, but the candidate should have strong technical foundations and the ability to learn quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, manage, and optimize complex Excel-based datasets, with potential migration to SQL or other database systems
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for operational improvement
  • Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and organize data for reporting and decision-making
  • Maintain database integrity, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency
  • Provide administrative support to executives, including managing schedules, organizing documentation, and facilitating communication
  • Assist in workflow automation, enhancing business processes through database-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives
  • Utilize project management tools such as Asana (or similar) to coordinate tasks and track progress
Requirements
  • Proficiency in SQL (or similar database tools) for data management and analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and automation features
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
