Job Description

The Renewable Energy Project Analyst will function under the direct supervision of and report to the Project Manager.

S/he will collaborate closely with the PMU and UNDP Country Office teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and operational guidance in ensuring project outcomes and optimizing human and financial resources.
  • Coordinate with the Composite Technical Working Group (TWG) of the LDS province (TWG-LDS) and the TWG of the selected Health Facility (TWG-HF).
  • Maintain a working relationship with the project's implementing partners, project contractors, local government units, client hospital facilities, distribution utilities, and other energy stakeholders to enable effective and efficient delivery of program outcomes and outputs.
Key Outputs
  • Strengthen capacities of provincial and municipal governments in Local Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Plans (LREPs) towards integrating energy policies, investments, and projects into local budget and legislative agendas.
  • Develop technical and investment proposals to attract investors that support the efforts of the LDS province.
  • Install and commission appropriate solar PV systems at three new health facilities and expand the capacity of the existing solar PV system at the Tamparan Provincial Hospital.
