Job Title

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to fill the role of Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, who will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud computing, virtualization, and IT service management. Additionally, they should possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Administer and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, including servers, storage, and networking components.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate new technologies and improve overall IT service delivery.
  • Perform capacity planning and scaling for cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure for optimal performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration, with expertise in AWS or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud migration and deployment tools, such as AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance regulations, such as PCI-DSS and GDPR.
