Job Overview

As a professional specializing in Quality Assurance Testing, you will be part of a dynamic team focusing on automation and functional testing. Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans for computer applications, performing functional tests, regression tests, performance tests, and automated tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for computer systems
  • Perform thorough functional tests, including regression, performance, and automated tests
  • Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
  • Document anomalies and issues in a centralized tracking system
  • Review and analyze the completeness of business requirements
  • Build and maintain acceptance criteria for user stories based on requirements
  • Resolve whether the system being tested meets functional and technical requirements
  • Implement test cases manually or using automation tools
  • Verify that applications can run together seamlessly in a coordinated system environment
  • Prepare test data, simulating real-world scenarios
Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience in Quality Assurance capacity or equivalent position with an emphasis on application system testing
  • Experience working in an Agile environment/methodology
  • Relevant industry experience in manual functional testing of complex systems composed of multiple coordinated applications
  • Relevant experience in application system testing under development environment using ASP.Net, SQL; RDBM experience in MS SQL and XML
  • Working understanding of different Software Development Life Cycle models
  • Able to work effectively through ambiguous specifications and collaborate with relevant partners to clarify requirements
  • Capability to integrate technology into business operations and/or strategy
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable Qualifications/ Skills

  • Background in automation testing with ability to write efficient test scripts
  • Proven software testing foundations (test case design, test execution, bug investigation, bug tracking), and other test methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with background in technical documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to bridge business and technical environments, and build professional relationships
