Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant at Regal Rexnord, you will be responsible for managing the monthly close and consolidation process, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, accruals/reserves, debt, allocations, insurance, and equity. You will also prepare certain journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analytics. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in the monthly close process through the increased utilization of technology and tools, implementation of standard operating procedures, and other efficiency measures.

You will work closely with the Segment Controllership and Finance teams, as well as various other departments throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Managing the monthly close and consolidation process, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, accruals/reserves, debt, allocations, insurance, and equity.
  2. Preparing certain journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analytics.
  3. Driving continuous improvement and reducing cycle time in the monthly close process through the increased utilization of technology and tools, implementation of standard operating procedures and other efficiency measures.
  4. Supporting internal control assessments and establishing and maintaining effective design and operating effectiveness of internal controls of assigned processes.
  5. Implementing processes and controls to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and corporate accounting standards/policies.
  6. Providing SEC Reporting support as needed – roll forwards, support schedules.
  7. Coordinating with and supporting external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit.
