Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication/Maintenance Helper to join our team at North Taal Steel Corp.

• Cutting and Joining Metal Parts: Fabricate or repair metal parts by cutting and joining them using various techniques.
• Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install or remove special equipment such as paint machines, grinders, and power tools, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work completed to facilitate accounting activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Motor Rewinding: Perform motor rewinding tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Quality Control: Test output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds, and report any issues to supervisors.
• Preventive Maintenance: Ensure preventive maintenance of machines and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
• Fault Resolution: Respond to faults and requests in operations, and solve partly mechanical/electrical issues on production and facilities equipment.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain personal work tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Safety Procedures: Promote safety procedures in the workplace area and ensure compliance with company safety policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of fabrication and maintenance techniques, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
