Job Title: Plant Trait Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Plant Trait Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for executing parent characterization (PT) experiments in Central Luzon in alignment with established standards and protocols.

• Execute PT experiments in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Implement yield trials (YT) across Central and North Luzon following operational standards.
• Gather and analyze datasets from PT and YT experiments.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders, including research teams.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the complete end-to-end process lifecycle.
• Introduce innovative methodologies in PT and YT testing as required.
• Perform data integrity assessments on all YT experiments.
• Potentially lead hybrid advancement meetings and oversee safety initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong agronomic expertise and field management experience, particularly in corn cultivation.
• Proficient in basic statistics and modern statistical software.
• In-depth knowledge of experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Physically capable of performing fieldwork in hot and humid environments.
• Open to relocation and participation in training programs.
• Valid driver's license.
• CAAP and RPA licenses considered an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
