Fresenius Medical Care seeks a skilled Credit Control Specialist to join its team in improving Working Capital KPIs. As a key member of the Credit and Collection Department, you will focus on reducing DSO, BPDSO, and % current improvements to target.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Credit and Collection Department to achieve fiscal compliance.
  • Perform credit checks on new and existing customers to minimize losses.
  • Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO % Current.
  • Ensure business processes operate effectively to an appropriate level of fiscal compliance.
  • Collect current and overdue receivables accurately and timely.
  • Review and advise on local portfolio's including the A/R report to minimize losses.
  • Deliver continuous improvement by advising on credit risk related processes & services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year working experience in accounting area of credit and collections.
  • Determination to respond to tight deadlines.
  • Naturally driven to work with confidence in complex business environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Promptness and good communication with other departments.
  • Hands-on mentality with ability to work independently.
  • Strong presence and credibility desired.
  • Fluent English in speaking and writing required.
  • Inquisitive, pro-active and precise.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel (Reporting purposes).
