Job Description:
Mida Food Specialist is seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Assistant to provide exceptional support to the Company's purchasing function. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

The successful candidate will assist the Purchasing Manager in the preparation of necessary documents for all purchases, including procurement requests and vendor contracts. They will also be responsible for handling logistics from seller to the company warehouse, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining records of purchases and trade files, as well as assisting the Purchasing Manager in preparation of reports as requested by the Executive Board. Additionally, the successful candidate will record and maintain files for supplier database, prices, and specs for both suppliers and customers.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be able to preserve and update electronic files, such as import stats, historical purchases, BOC, and BIR related reports, as well as prepare and circulate documents like Seafood Product Requisition (SPR), Purchase Orders (PO), Discharge Information Sheet (DIS), and Goods Deposit Slip (GDS).

Responsibilities include following up on orders and shipping documents to ensure that products are delivered on promised dates, as well as assisting in the preparation of documentary requirements for government agencies such as BFAR, BFAD, and BOC. The successful candidate will also update calendar of arrivals of imported shipments and deliveries of local shipments, and update SAP database for vendors and item master data.

The Supply Chain Coordinator will monitor and ensure prompt payments to suppliers, coordinate quality issues and secure corrective actions with suppliers, and perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
