Job Title: Spatial Designer

Location: Remote Work Opportunity

Work Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM UK Time

Job Overview:

We seek a skilled and meticulous Spatial Designer to join our design team. This role requires proficiency in CAD tools and expertise in space planning, building elevations, and architectural layouts.

Responsibilities:

  • Create precise spatial designs, elevations, and layout plans using CAD software.
  • Interpret architectural sketches and design briefs to develop full construction-ready plans.
  • Maximize space efficiency while adhering to client specifications and building codes.
  • Ensure all designs are aligned with UK building regulations and planning guidelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to revise and improve design packages.
  • Maintain organized records of revisions and design sets for project tracking.
  • Meet deadlines and coordinate with stakeholders working across different time zones.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in architectural planning, CAD drafting, or design layout development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting/design tools.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning processes, zoning codes, and building regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual presentation of technical documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects and adjust to evolving client needs.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate remotely and provide updates clearly.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous spatial, elevation, and layout work is highly preferred.
