About the Role

The Senior Architect will be responsible for supporting design development and documentation, preparing detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using Revit primarily with extended software capability such as Enscape, Adobe suite, desired.

Responsibilities

  • Design Development:
    • Contribute to the development of innovative and functional design solutions.
  • Documentation:
    • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using Revit and other software.
    • Develop comprehensive construction documentation packages, including schedules and specifications.
  • Project Support:
    • Coordinate design requirements and specifications with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Provide technical support during project meetings and collaborate with remote teams.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Regularly review and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness.
    • Ensure high standards of design and documentation consistency.
  • Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
    • Engage with clients and stakeholders via virtual project meetings.
    • Address stakeholder feedback and incorporate revisions into designs.

Requirements

Education:

  • Diploma or degree in Architecture.
  • Full architectural licensure.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, with a strong portfolio of commercial and residential projects.
  • Experience supporting projects from concept design through DA submissions to tender and construction documentation.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Revit and other software.
  • Strong understanding of BIM processes and tools.
  • Expert knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations.
