Job Title: Knowledgebase Content Specialist

The primary goal of the knowledgebase content specialist is to oversee the governance of a knowledge base, ensuring its overall health and adherence to best practices. This includes promoting correct and widespread usage of the knowledge base, establishing guidelines for captured information, and preventing stagnation. The specialist reports to the Instructional Design Manager within the Global Learning Innovation and Design Team - Training and Development Group.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, up-to-date, and searchable content for diverse audiences by defining the knowledge management strategy for the knowledge base.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, clients, trainers, QA, IDs, and subject matter experts to develop and support new and existing products, processes, and services.
  • Utilize analytics to evaluate business impact, track usage, and define efficiency of the knowledge base content.
  • Establish writing guidelines based on knowledge base best practices.
  • Review and implement agent suggestions to enhance content accuracy and relevance.
  • Implement changes to knowledge base articles in response to client requests or internal initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on product specifics to ensure article content accuracy.
  • Proactively review the knowledge base and suggest updates that require attention.
  • Create new knowledge base articles as campaigns launch new policies, procedures, or products.
  • Provide regular updates on article status to stakeholders.
  • Implement 'change tracking' strategies to ensure approval of all changes.
  • Edit all work for spelling, grammar, conciseness, clarity, and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in content writing.
  • Experience independently creating engaging online articles, guides, and user support content.
  • Proficiency with writing and graphics tools, including online platforms.
  • Ability to apply formatting techniques to make key points stand out.
  • Analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and create innovative solutions.
  • Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to new knowledge and skills.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with team members and stakeholders.
  • Alignment with core values such as respect, integrity, transparency, and excellence.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working with a knowledge base as a writer and administrator.
  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.
