Job Overview:

Purpose and Scope

This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll support across Australia and New Zealand entities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to reconcile and lodge statutory requirements for both countries.

  • Familiarization with taxation of salaries, benefits, and other factors;
  • Audit of all payroll records;
  • Resolution of payroll discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing information;
  • Support and advise on continual process improvement projects;
Key Responsibilities

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation and reconciliation of PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, IRD, Kiwi Saver, and all statutory requirements;
  • Compliance with government regulations;
  • Processing and wage attachment;
  • Maintenance of accurate payroll records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3 years experience in Australian payroll;
  • Proficiency in Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems;
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills;
  • Great interpersonal skills in working with diverse populations.
