Job Title: AU Traffic Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traffic Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation planning group, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and managing traffic management plans for large infrastructure and construction projects.

You will work closely with project managers to align traffic planning with project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner. Your expertise in traffic planning will enable us to minimize disruptions to road users and ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic planning, preferably within infrastructure or large-scale construction projects. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work directly with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and manage traffic management plans for large infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers to align traffic planning with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Analyze and forecast traffic impacts for complex jobs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and local requirements.
  • Monitor, adjust, and optimize traffic flow strategies throughout project execution.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in traffic planning, preferably within infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong background in handling multiple, complex jobs simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work directly with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of local traffic regulations, safety standards, and planning methodologies.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in rapid planning.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF Editors, Outlook).
  • AutoCAD experience (beneficial but not necessary).
