About The Role

As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting complex data integrations from internal and external sources into the technical data warehouse stack, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery to systems. You will play a key role in designing and building a scalable enterprise data warehouse.

  • Job Description:
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design and implement ETL components, and develop Matillion ETL scripts and orchestrations as required.
  • You will ensure the team follows best practices of ETL development and leverage monitoring tools to track status of ETL pipelines for performance and completion.
  • You will develop and write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and insert data into and from the data warehouse.
  1. Main Responsibilities:
  2. Design and implement ETL components, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  3. Develop Matillion ETL scripts and orchestrations as required.
  4. Ensure the team follows best practices of ETL development.
  5. Leverage monitoring tools to track status of ETL pipelines for performance and completion.
  6. Develop and write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and insert data into and from the data warehouse.
  7. Key Skills and Qualifications:
  8. 2+ years of IT experience required in working with ETL in an enterprise environment.
  9. Knowledge in ETL Design methodologies including best practices, performance tuning, architecture, monitoring, and alerting.
  10. Knowledge of at least one ETL tool (SSIS, Informatica, Matillion, Talend, etc.).
  11. Experience with relational and dimensional data modelling and ability to represent data using standard modelling techniques.
  12. Proficient with SQL and stored procedures.
  13. Experience in working with at least one of these warehouse technologies such as SQL, Snowflake, AWS Redshift.
