High-Performance Cloud Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems that support our financial trading operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled engineer who thrives in dynamic environments. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based architectures using Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Maintain system health, perform patching, backups, and configuration reviews.
- Troubleshoot escalated issues across multiple platforms.
- Administer Azure and Microsoft 365, including compute, IAM, and monitoring.
- Enforce cloud governance, tagging, and cost optimisation.
- Support automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Manage identities, licensing, conditional access, and compliance policies.
- Virtualisation & HCI Support VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and HCI platforms.
- Perform VM provisioning, migrations, and performance tuning.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in financial services or trading environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, GCP, VMware, and HCI.
- Familiarity with Citrix, Active Directory, Windows Server, and backup systems.
- Experience with endpoint protection, threat analysis (CrowdStrike/Defender), and IT monitoring tools.
- Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu) and shell scripting.
- Interpersonal & Leadership Qualities

- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues for business stakeholders.
- Team-oriented with regional collaboration experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
