As a key member of our team at Good Neighbors Philippines, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our Community Development Projects (CDPs).
Essential ResponsibilitiesBelow are the key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant and Administrator:
- Handle all financial operations, including bookkeeping, journal voucher preparation, and petty cash management within the CDP.
- Review and approve financial documents using DocsWave / IMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- Prepare and process Request for Payment (RFP), liquidations, cash advances, and other financial transactions.
- Undertake all financial documentary management, ensuring timely scanning and storage of financial documents (DV & JV).
- Maintain accurate records of project funds and expenditures, ensuring all financial documentation is well-maintained and readily available.
- Collaborate with the Senior Finance Manager to carry out additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, or a related field and have at least two years of experience in finance and administration, preferably in an international NGO setting. Knowledge of QuickBooks is an added advantage.
