Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Gintell. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative and general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and various permits and taxes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation and Review: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested, and monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
  • Accounting Methodology and Policy Development: Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles, and assess current practices and procedures to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Team Management: Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy, and meet financial accounting objectives.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related functions as assigned from time to time, and work a standard schedule of Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 6pm.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including a portion in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases, with proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Personal Qualities: High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to direct and supervise, excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization, strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results, and the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
