Revenue Accounting Role

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. This critical role ensures accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, driving business growth globally.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing operational and technical aspects of revenue recognition, including reviewing customer contracts, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting monthly and quarterly closes.

  • This position plays a key role in the company's financial audit, preparing and reviewing revenue-related schedules for external auditors.
  • We require the ideal candidate to bring solid accounting experience, keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations, including those related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled receivables.
  • Assist with revenue reporting and analysis by monitoring customer usage.
  • Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, ensuring ASC 606 compliance.
  • Manage and maintain NetSuite ARM to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including data validation, reconciliations, and data flows.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA/CIMA qualification or progress toward certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in SaaS revenue accounting with a focus on ASC 606.
  • Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
