Job Title: Procurement Associate

This is a challenging role that involves managing the procurement of local materials, supplies or services for plant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable vendors and negotiating prices to ensure economical costs.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in procurement, preferably in a feed mill operation. They should also have knowledge of procurement procedures, logistics and inventory management. Strong buying and negotiation skills are essential.

  • Procure materials, supplies or services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Identify reliable vendors and negotiate prices.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure continuity of delivery.
  • Monitor and control master data processes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related course. Experience working in a cross-functional team-oriented environment is an added advantage.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related course.

Experience: 3–5 years experience in procurement, preferably in a feed mill operation.

Skills: Knowledge of procurement procedures, logistics and inventory management; strong buying and negotiation skills; planning, analytical and good judgment skills.

Responsibilities
