Job Description

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our Linux systems.

As a System Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily maintenance and monitoring of Linux systems and services
  • Performing troubleshooting and issue resolution for system-related problems
  • Investigating and coordinating responses to system alerts

You will also be responsible for serving as the primary on-call engineer during scheduled shifts and ensuring effective communication with team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in production Linux system administration
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • The ability to work various shift schedules, including early morning, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts

In addition, you should be proficient in Bash scripting and familiar with user management, configuration, and package management best practices.

Experience with Proxmox or similar Linux KVM hypervisors is highly desirable.
