Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

About This Role:

This is a part-time opportunity that requires 15-20 hours of work per week, following the EST timezone. As an accounting professional, you will be responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.

  • Financial Transactions: Record and process financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA).
  • Skills: Proficiency in bookkeeping software, QuickBooks or MYOB, and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience: At least one year of US Payroll experience, working remotely as an accountant.
  • Other: Ethical behavior, attention to detail, and the ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.
