Sales compensation analysts are responsible for calculating and processing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual commission payments. They also administer and analyze sales compensation and commission programs for global commercial organizations, ensuring alignment with business strategy and motivational effectiveness.

The senior sales compensation analyst will serve as the operational expert on all things sales compensation, acting as the main point of contact for inquiries related to incentive plans and commission calculations. They will support the development, communication, and rollout of new sales incentive plans and commission structures, including documentation, testing, training, and self-serve calculators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with finance, sales leadership, and HR to calculate and process accurate commission payments.
  • Administer and analyze sales compensation and commission programs for global commercial organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales compensation-related inquiries.
  • Develop, communicate, and roll out new sales incentive plans and commission structures.
  • Model, simulate, and forecast plan changes to assess impact and prepare reports for executive leadership.
  • Participate in annual compensation plan redesign, providing analytical insight on competitive benchmarks and internal equity.
  • Build and maintain compensation analytics dashboards to ensure full visibility into compensation program performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales compensation, commissions processing, incentive plan administration, or sales/revenue operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with strong analytical, data modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience administering and configuring sales compensation management software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of sales compensation best practices, quota assignment, and SaaS revenue models.
  • Exposure to global compensation practices and a deep focus on accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
