Our organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to assume the role of Medical Billing Specialist. This position requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in learning and adapting to new software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for accurate claims processing.
- Codify claims using accepted codes provided by healthcare providers.
- Review and resubmit claims as necessary to prevent denials.
- Submit electronic claims within 72 hours of service date.
- Pull payment reports from insurers and update patient records accordingly.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in working with medical software applications.
