Job Title: Automation QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications.

About the Role:

In this mid-level position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern features like async/await and Promises.

This includes developing and enhancing test automation, contributing to our testing framework by implementing the Page Object Model (POM), creating reusable components and utilities, and integrating API tests within the WebDriverIO framework.

Responsibilities:
  • Test Automation Development: Design, build, and maintain clean, reliable, and scalable automated tests for our web applications.
  • Framework Architecture: Actively contribute to our testing framework by implementing the Page Object Model (POM) and creating reusable components and utilities.
  • Test Reliability: Implement effective wait strategies to eliminate flakiness and go beyond basic commands to handle complex scenarios involving iFrames, multiple windows, and asynchronous operations.
  • API Testing: Develop and integrate API tests within the WebDriverIO framework to ensure comprehensive end-to-end test coverage.
  • Clinical Quality Assurance: Integrate automation scripts into our CI/CD pipelines and analyze test results to troubleshoot failures.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern features like async/await and Promises.
  • Hands-on experience with any JS-based testing framework; deep experience with WebDriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) and experience building scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
