Strategic Sourcing Specialist

This role involves managing commodity strategy and supplier relationships to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, supplier management, and cost savings initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop effective commodity strategies to meet business goals.
  2. Manage supplier relationships to drive cost savings and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  3. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to realize savings.
  4. Analyze demand and pricing data to set optimal order quantities and batch sizes.
  5. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure supplier performance aligns with contractual requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing and supplier management.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management principles and materials management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in data analysis and cost management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for global collaboration.
