Job Description:
  • This role oversees the restaurant's supply chain, encompassing demand planning, purchasing, and inventory control to ensure timely replenishment and minimize waste.

The Supply Chain Head will work closely with culinary, operations, and finance teams to align supply chain efforts with restaurant goals. Key responsibilities include:

Demand Planning:
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to forecast demand based on menu trends, customer traffic, and sales analysis.
  • Adjust forecasts with marketing and operations teams for events and holidays.
Supply Planning:
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure the restaurant is stocked with necessary ingredients, considering supplier lead times and market trends.
  • Lead purchasing activities and negotiate with suppliers for competitive prices, ensuring quality, food safety, and sustainability standards are met.
Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking, utilizing software to track inventory and perform regular audits.
Cost Control & Budget Management:
  • Monitor supply chain costs and collaborate with finance to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
Sustainability & Compliance:
  • Lead efforts to source sustainable, local, and ethically produced ingredients, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications a plus.
  • 10+ years in supply chain management preferably in the Local FMCG, restaurant or foodservice industry.
  • Expertise in demand planning, supply planning, and purchasing, along with strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in supply chain software and Microsoft Office, with knowledge of inventory systems, food safety, and sustainability practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
