HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install, service and repair environmental control systems in commercial settings.

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating and inspecting components.
• Troubleshoot digital control software using computer skills.
• Join tubing or pipes to refrigerating units with Pro-press, unions, solder and brazing.
• Check pressure and vacuum gauges, and adjust controls for proper operation.
• Detect leaks in joints and connections using gauges or soap solution.
• Assist with minor insulation repairs.
• Diagnose electrical issues, fuses, contractors and controls.
• Service and repair air conditioners up to 200 tons cooling capacity.
• Detect issues with VAV controls.

Required Skills:

• Industrial/Commercial HVAC experience with refrigeration and controls systems.
• Valid Driver's License - Driving is required for this position.
• Overtime/Weekend work may be required occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of HVAC vocational training.
• Universal EPA certification.
• Knowledge of laptop and building automated system software.
• Ability to read blueprints: mechanical, electrical, plumbing.
• Ability to maintain and install sheaves, belts and bearings on AHU's.
• Knowledge of working on AHU motors up to 100hp.
• Ability to troubleshoot up to 480 Volts.
