As a structural design engineer, you will be responsible for performing structural engineering calculations, modeling, and analysis to ensure the safety and constructability of our designs. You will also be required to solve complex problems in accordance with project requirements and understand applicable codes and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform structural engineering calculations, modeling, and analysis.
  2. Solve complex problems in accordance with project requirements.
  3. Ensure safety, constructability, and cost-effectiveness of the design.
  4. Understand applicable codes and specifications.
  5. Coordinate with different disciplines such as architectural and MEPF.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Knowledge of discipline local and international codes (NSCP, PD 1096, DPWH DGCS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, etc.) or project-specific standards, specifications, design criteria, and construction methodology.
  • Familiarity with structural software such as MIDAS, ETABS, STAAD, and SAFE.
  • Advanced computer and software skills (structural analysis software and spreadsheets).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Spatial ability.
  • Accredited degree in civil engineering.
  • Registered professional with at least three years of related experience in the design of vertical structures, preferably railway stations.
