Job Overview

Compliance Medical Assistant - Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring compliance with current laws, procedures, and guidelines.

As a Compliance Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing critical support to the Compliance team member. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Research and Data Collection

Conduct thorough research and gather information from internal resources and websites, summarizing data as needed.

Payor Guidelines Summary

Research payor guidelines and summarize findings to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Email Support

Respond to email queries with prompt and precise information, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Fee Schedule Management

Review and update fee schedules as required, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Excel Spreadsheet Management

Manage and maintain Excel spreadsheets with precision and attention to detail.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education

A minimum of 2 years of college education is required.

Experience

At least 2+ years of experience in medical billing, including provider credentialing, authorizations, reimbursement, etc., preferably in Behavioral Health.

Independent Work Style

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline.
