Job Description

The Logistics Supervisor role at Executive Optical is a key position that oversees the execution of logistics-related operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing policies, procedures, and activities aligned with department goals and objectives.
  • Supervise logistics personnel, including drivers, riders, and dispatchers, to guarantee seamless operations.
  • Maintain adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and established controls.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Verify that dispatched items are delivered on-time and accurately placed.
  • Ensure courier deliveries meet scheduled timelines and service level agreements.
  • Maintain trucks in working condition and adhere to vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Perform reporting duties and other assigned administrative tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience as a supervisor or team leader in a similar capacity.
  • Relevant experience in product dispatch and delivery within a retail setup.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with subordinates to establish direction, authority, and responsibility.
