    Job Responsibilities:

    As a Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential hazards within our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
  • Investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of safety incidents and near misses

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related discipline
  • Professional certification in safety management (e.g. CSP, CIH)
  • Proven experience in safety management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
