As a Freelance Peer Reviewer, you will be responsible for assessing manuscripts and providing constructive feedback to authors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the originality of the manuscript and evaluate its contribution to the field of study.
  • Evaluate the study design and methodology to ensure it is appropriate, comprehensive, and clearly described.
  • Check whether the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant research in the field.
  • Analyze the results and conclusions to ensure they are presented clearly and supported by the data.
  • Provide constructive feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
Requirements
  • You should have a Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area.
  • You should have at least two publications in the last two years in your field.
  • You should have a thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline.
  • You should have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • You should have strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • You should be able to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • You should be committed to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
