We are seeking a seasoned audit professional to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with top-tier clients and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, with experience in performing audits of client financial statements under supervision. They will be responsible for completing audit workpapers, documenting audit tests and findings, and researching and developing knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.

The successful candidate will also be able to collect, assimilate, and analyze client data, use standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work, and assist in identifying technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate the same.

In addition, they will be able to recommend ways to streamline operations and increase client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college
  • 3-7 years of recent public accounting experience | Audit
  • ERISA, Employee Benefit Plans Experience Required
  • Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles (FASB, GAAP, OCBOA) and industry specific rules
  • Experience with a paperless auditing application preferred
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong research, organizational, computer and analytical skills needed
  • A desire to provide exceptional client service with the highest level of integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
