Job Description

The Pharmacist (Reliever) plays a vital role in the administration and coordination of our Pharmacy department. This position involves ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines in the hospital for patients who are unable to pay, those whose care is subsidized, and those who are private patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpret physicians' orders, verify, compound, and dispense medicines.
  2. Counsel patients on medication side effects, dosage, and route of administration.
  3. Maintain effective communication with patients and their relatives.
  4. Respond to medication-related queries from within the hospital and from patients and their relatives.
  5. Prepare and maintain quality checks on sterile medications under aseptic conditions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a qualified institution.
  • Current license from PRC.
  • 1-3 years' experience working in a hospital pharmacy.
