Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-focused Data Quality Analyst to maintain annotation standards and drive continuous improvements in AI data accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

About the Role

  • This is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the quality of annotated datasets and evaluating data quality through metrics such as F1 score and inter-annotator agreement.
  • The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience as a data analyst with exposure to data quality and/or data annotation, ideally in an AI/ML context.

Responsibilities

  1. Quality Audits: Conduct thorough quality audits on annotated datasets to ensure they meet established guidelines and quality benchmarks.
  2. Statistical Reporting: Leverage metrics to evaluate data quality and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Root Cause Analysis: Analyze annotation errors, trends, and project documentation to identify root causes and propose remediation strategies.
  4. Edge-Case Management: Resolve and analyze edge-case annotations to ensure quality and identify improvement areas.
  5. Tooling: Proficiently use annotation and quality control tools to perform reviews and track quality metrics.
  6. Guidelines: Become an expert in project guidelines and provide feedback for clarifications or improvements.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify automation opportunities and contribute to documentation of quality standards and procedures.
