Financial Operations Specialist

Manage and maintain accurate financial records to support business operations.

Develop and implement efficient financial workflows, processes, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Oversee accounts payable activities and general ledger management.
  • Contribute to month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Provide detailed budget-to-actual analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to address discrepancies.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and in-depth reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Supervise revenue and expense processes, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards in all accounting practices.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is essential; CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end accounting activities and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setup.
  • Experience in tax compliance and preparation is a strong advantage.
  • Fully fluent in English
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time)
