About the role

The Sr. Commercial Manager at iglooinsure will be instrumental in expanding our presence as a leading provider of digital insurance solutions in Southeast Asia. This dual-focused role ensures that our innovative insurance products meet the evolving needs of businesses and consumers by managing existing client relationships and sourcing new business partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management & Partner Relationship Growth
  1. Nurture existing client and partner relationships to maximize satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  2. Understand each partner's goals and collaborate closely with them to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding their use of iglooinsure's digital insurance solutions.
  3. Work with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of iglooinsure's services and a positive partner experience.
  4. Regularly assess partner performance, providing insights and solutions to enhance their experience with iglooinsure's offerings and drive mutual growth.
  5. Lead renewal discussions and negotiate terms that support both partner objectives and iglooinsure's commercial goals.
New Business Development & Partner Sourcing
  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on strategic partnerships that align with iglooinsure's mission to make insurance accessible, affordable, and inclusive.
  2. Conduct market research to build a pipeline of potential partners who can benefit from iglooinsure's digital insurance solutions, such as lifestyle protection, e-commerce insurance, and device protection.
  3. Present iglooinsure's product suite to prospective clients, demonstrating how solutions like device protection, extended warranties, and loan protection can add value to their business and customers.
  4. Collaborate with prospective partners to structure agreements and negotiate terms that create long-term value and growth for both parties.
  5. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to guide business development strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  1. Collaborate closely with the Head of Commercial to align on commercial strategies that support both existing and new partnerships.
  2. Coordinate with iglooinsure's product, operations, marketing, and finance teams to tailor solutions that meet partner requirements, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
  3. Engage in cross-functional projects that enhance iglooinsure's ability to deliver seamless and effective insurance solutions across various markets.
  4. Facilitate smooth communication and project coordination between departments to support partner onboarding and optimize ongoing account management.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
  1. Track and evaluate performance across both account management and new business initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and decision-making.
  2. Prepare and deliver regular updates to the Head of Commercial, highlighting partnership growth, key achievements, challenges, and emerging opportunities.
  3. Establish and monitor KPIs related to account management and business development, ensuring alignment with iglooinsure's broader commercial and strategic objectives.
