About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing manual and automation test tools, methodologies, scripts, and executing end-to-end automation and manual test cases.

This role involves creating test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing, as well as developing scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks.

The Test Engineer will work in a dedicated squad team and contribute to implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring all assigned testing deliverables timelines are met within the sprint and product release, creating and communicating test reports for stakeholders, liaising with business users, business analysts, and engineers to ensure that any assigned defects are resolved, and maintaining awareness of external environments and trends in testing.

Promoting productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices, coaching and training other team members on manual and automated testing, and adapting new ways of working, finding ways to continually improve, and actively participating in squad events.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of software testing experience (manual and automation).
  • Experience with automated testing tool Playwright.
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing including planning, test case design, test reporting, defect tracking, estimating, and test coverage.
  • Demonstrated capability to learn and understand a business and its processes and systems in depth.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines and parallel test execution.
  • Ability to work across multiple products/platforms/squads.
  • Regular use of a defect and test management system such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
