Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to work in a disaster relief call center. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The purpose of this role is to provide critical support to customers affected by disasters. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for handling service inquiries, learning common requests and solutions, and improving the customer's experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, or chat
  • Learn and apply industry knowledge to resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives
  • Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance the customer experience

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where change and ambiguity prevail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers
