Job Title: Content Development Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Writer-Editor to join our team. As a key member of our content development department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality written content for college applications, providing detailed feedback, and emphasizing clarity, style, and structure.

The ideal candidate is a creative and organized individual with exceptional English verbal and written skills, strong grammar knowledge, and the ability to research a wide range of topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorming and writing essays with the College Admissions Team's Consultants
  • Editing students' rough drafts to fix grammar, clarity, style, flow, structure, and word count
  • Researching different topics to strengthen student work
  • Collaborating with team members on drafting, brainstorming, augmenting, and reviewing assignments
  • Administration and logistics tasks associated with assignments
  • Business development projects contributing to the growth of the team and company

Requirements:

  • Exceptional English verbal and written skills with a strong grip on grammar
  • Graduated from a 4-year degree program in either English, Literature, Journalism, Education, or related fields
  • Experience working in education consulting is preferred but not required
  • Portfolio with a minimum of three written samples
  • Ability to edit and write skillfully without using AI tools
